17 beautiful alpacas & llamas reside at Moose Meadows Farm. These animals are camelids and their origins are the High Andes of South America. They are all sheared annually (late spring / early summer) and their fibre collected and sent to woollen mills for processing. Once processed, the products are available for purchase. We typically keep a little bit of raw fibre back to play with.
We opt to leave the fibre as natural as possible; hence the fibre is undyed. Our selection of finished products vary, so please contact us for additional information and for availability. We typically have yarn (lopi, 2-ply), rovings, socks, blankets, and duvets. Prior to ordering, please check for availability on product and colours.
