Moose Meadows Farm is home to several horses, ponies and donkeys.
The farm prides itself on excellent and responsible horse care.
The farm is able to accommodate several horses to “run” with our own herd / gaggle / flock / bunch of horses, alpacas, and llamas. Horses are social animals and are happiest when they live in a group.
Boarding at Moose Meadows Farm includes the following:
- 60 acres of shared pasture – 2 pastures (20 acres) and 40 acres of bush / regenerating cutblock, and trails
- Access to fresh water, salt blocks, and minerals (block or loose) – we have an automatic waterer in the front field
- Safe fencing which is checked regularly
- Horses are accounted for daily
- 40′ x 20 ‘ riding arena (sand base)
- 60′ round pen
- Crown land trails
- Summer and Winter Board
Located approximately 5 km. west of Bouchie Lake Recreation Grounds which has a large outdoor riding arena and where a great number of equestrian events are held. PRIOR TO BOARDING A HORSE AT MOOSE MEADOWS FARM, ALL HORSES SHOULD BE WORMED AND HAVE HAD THEIR NECESSARY VACCINATIONS.
